A strong fire in Samegrelo - Chkhorotsku district, the rescuers are still fighting the fire in the house of the Keburias. The elderly couple was taken out of the burning house by neighbors.
The locals were fighting with their own forces because the neighbors say that the cars that came to the place were out of order.Additional troops are expected from Zugdidi at this moment. The injured couple was taken to the hospital. The fire was allegedly caused by electric power failure. Residential house is almost completely burned.
Chkhorotsku municipality say that fire rescue service arrived at the place on time, but the burning started a long time before their arrival.
