Alexander Glushkov, wanted by Interpol, released on bail


One of Brothers - Alexander and Vladimit Glushkov , wanted by Interpol was freed on bail.

Russian citizen Alexander Gluskov will have to pay 100 thousand GEL as bail for extradition.

The trial of another brother Vladimir Gluskov will be held in an hour.

According to "Courier" Glushkovs crossed Georgian border in the spring of 2018, via the Sarpi checkpoint. They were wanted in Russia for economic crimes, fraud and bribery and accused of misappropriation of several million.

According to" Courier", brothers, wanted by Interpol were moving freely in Tbilisi for six months and had negotiations with the high ranking officials regarding granting the status of political refugee. After they refused to pay a huge amount of money, they were imprisoned.

Aleksandr Glushkov says he will name all the people involved in the corruption scheme. His lawyer Lali Aptsiauri says she is not going to keep silence.
