The situation on the territory of Davit Gareji monastery is still unchanged. Azeri side still does not allow Georgian pilgrims and monks in the monastery.

All the ways to the David Gareji desert monastery have been occupied by Azeri border guards for the fourth day. No one is allowed to approach the place where there unique murals and christian sacred objects. The access is to the clergy is also closed.
