The new stage of the confrontation between the forces of the Georgian Dream begins. Giorgi Gakharia`s position is strengthened -he will head both the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Service . To the position of Minister of Internal Affairs and Vice Prime Minister the position of Secretary of the National Security Council has been added, which means that the security service is actually going to be subordinated to him.
The function of the Secretary of the National Security Council was imposed on Giorgi Gakharia on the basis of the Prime Minister"s order. The Minister of Internal Affairs will head the agency that coordinates the discussion of important challenges and risks to the country.
The media writes that Gakharia has won another confrontation within the "Dream" and a new post is a proof of them.
