Shengeli Pitskhelauri is appointed as the Deputy Head of the State Security Service. The information has already been confirmed officially.

Shengel Pitskhelauri started to work in special services in1976. He was a Head of Investigation Service of the Security Ministry, when Shevardnadze"s Security Service entered Rustavi 2.

Pitskhelauri was dismissed from special services in 2003. Shengeli Pitskhelauri says he is currently an advisor to the Interior Minister Giorgi Gakharia, although the deputy minister says he does not know him at all.
