The government and the prosecutor"s office intentionally did not carry out a number of investigative actions - this statement was made by Vano Merabishvili"s lawyer on the fact of withdrawal of the former prime minister from the prison cell.
Giorgi Chiviashvili responded to the statement of the Prosecutor"s Office to interview the former Prime Minister on this case.The attorney addressed the Prosecutor"s Office with the request of Merabishvili"s questioning . However, this was not the only requirement. The former prime minister"s lawyer also demanded that Merabishvili be acknowledged as a victim and a number of investigative actions be carried out .
According to Vano Merabishvili"s lawyer , the decision of the prosecutor"s office to question the former prime minister, will change nothing , because the Prosecutor"s Office did nothing to investigate the fact. Vano Merabishvili is expected to be questioned next week.
