"Gareji is Georgia!" - Clergy and civil activists raised Georgian flag near Davit Gareji Monastery Complex

Hundreds of Georgian citizens have united to protect Davit Gareji - clergy and civic activists hold a protest march in the monastery complex.

Gareji is Georgia - a large-scale procession will move to the territory, considered by the Azerbaijan side in its borders.

Clergy from 15 dioceses alongside with their parish arrived in the Monastery complex. They say that Gareji is Georgian Jerusalem and if the government fails to protect it, then the citizens and the Church will have to do it.
