The government is discussing the violent take over of Rustavi 2 - Nika Gvaramia

"Two sources, including one from the governmental authorities, have provided information about the fact that the decision on breaking into Rustavi 2 tonight is being discussed at the moment; this idea has proponents and the opponents in the authorities," the general director of Rustavi 2 told said at the special briefing.
According to him, the government is discussing "Rustavi 2" violent takeover. Nika Gvaramia calls on the government not take to a stand on Rustavi 2"s violent takeover.
"What"s been happening in recent weeks in the country is the Russian scenario, unfortunately, with the participation of the Georgian government. I can not blame all government officials. I think that there are patriots of Georgia among members of the Georgian Dream despite the fact that they are deeply mistaken. But, unfortunately, the main axis of this government is to pursue Russian interests and this axis is headed by Bidzina Ivanishvili and, of course, the government and some representatives of the parliament constitute this axis. Therefore, no matter why you should enter here, for example, hidden recordings and some legitimate reasons, do not dare do it, in this case not because the channel will close. Do not dare shut this TV because it can lead to unpleasant processes in the country, violence in the streets and of course this is in the interests of our main enemy, Russia, "- Nika Gvaramia said.
Nika Gvaramia addresses people in power to stop Bidzina Ivanishvili. Nika Gvaramia calls Bidzina Ivanishvili a Russian project and says he was not surprised to see Gavrilov in the seat of the Chairperson of the Parliament.
"I once again appeal to all the people who are patriots, not to make this decision, neither tonight nor at any other night. By closing Rustavi 2 and stopping broadcasting, you can not guarantee that you will stop people. You will get furious protests in the streets, including those who do not like Rustavi 2, these ruthless protests will be used by the provocateurs and the fate of the Georgian state is very vague in this situation, "Nika Gvaramia said.
According to Nika Gvaramia, despite the fact that he hates Bidzina Ivanishvili"s regime, he is not going to go against the country"s interests.
Nika Gvaramia does not exclude that another provocative secret record against him will be released. Director General of Rustavi 2 says that he is ready to arrive in any investigative agency so that the government does not have to take him at television.
