Mps agree to strip Nika Melia"s immunity

By the decision of the parliamentary majority, with 15 votes against 4, Nika Melia"s immunity was removed.

The decision, according to which Nika Melia may be detained was supported by the Committee on Procedural and Legal Issues.The Prosecutor"s Office addressed the Parliament with the request to remove immunity. The session started at 09:00 am in the Parliament and was held in the background of noise and confrontation.
