Four citizens continue a hunger strike in front of the parliament with the demand of resignation of the Interior Minister.

Some of the strikers faced health problems due to the extreme form of protest and were replaced by their friends. According to them, Giorgi Gakharia lost his legitimacy after developments of June 20.

"Giorgi Gakharia as a political figure has no legitimacy as a political figure any more. He just has to resign. I am sure that our demonstrations will bring results and Giorgi Gakharia will not be a minister any more,"- said Giga Lemonjava, one of the strikers.
