The Public Defender will create Advisory Council where experts, non-governmental organizations, attorneys and participants of the rally in Rustaveli Avenue will be united. Nino Lomjaria stated about it after visiting the hunger strikers.
She offered the organizers of the rally to join the board. According to Nino Lomjaria, the Advisory Council will study all the video footage of 20 June and in which may depict the fact of abuse of power by the law enforcers.
"We have suggested the organizers of the rally to get engaged in the work of the advisory group that will be created by the Public Defender. Very soon we will create an Advisory Council where independent experts, non-governmental organizations, attorneys and organizers of the rally will be involved and of course all the media and our mission will probably be to ask the Prosecutor"s Office to respond to the evidence which demonstrates the facts of abuse of power by law enforcement officials, "- said Nino Lomjaria.
