"As of 2018, Russian occupying forces in Georgia have divided at least 34 villages by installing fences and barbed wire. As a result, an estimated 800 to 1,000 families have lost access to their agricultural lands. Is it any wonder Georgians are protesting?," wrote Michael Carpenter.
