Non-judge members of the High Council of Justice express their distrust in the process of interview

Non-judge members of the High Council of Justice express their distrust in the process of interview with candidates for judges. Ana Dolidze and Nazi Janezashvili left the interview process in protest yesterday. The dissatisfaction of the members of the High Council of Justice was caused by the time of the interview. According to them, the members of the council are asking simple questions to their favorite candidates.
"Questions asked by Judge Members of the Council of Justice are the questions that are asked at the final exams of the first year of the Law School. Such questions are simply shameful, but these questions guarantee that the favorite contestants will not make any mistake during the interview, "said Anna Dolidze.
After yesterday"s interview, it was confirmed that the chairman of the Constitutional Court now wants to become the Supreme Court to judge for a lifetime. Zaza Tavadze was one of the last persons with whom the interview was held yesterday at the High Council of Justice.
Tavadze says he wants to continue his work because the term of working as chairman of the Constitutional Court is due to expire next year. The last stage of the selection of candidates will be discussed today at the council where Levan Tevzadze, Ilona Todua and Ucha Todua will participate.
