Irakli Okruashvili was officially charged

Irakli Okruashvili has been officially charged. His lawyer told journalists about it. Leader of "Winner Georgia" was detained on June 20-21.

The Former Minister of Defense was charged under Article 225 of the Criminal Code, which implies organizing, managing and involving in group violence.

Irakli Okruashvili sent a letter from prison yesterday.

"If I"m in prison in order to get rid of Ivanishvili"s government, I"ll spend here as long as I can. I will continue to break down the government from the prison and will not give up "Rustavi 2" and any other affair, "says Irakli Okruashvili"s message.
