Large-scale robbery in Mexico. Gunmen robbed state mint and stole two million dollars worth of gold coins. The robbery took place during daylight hours. Two robbers broke into the building. They confiscated weapons from the security services and then entered the safe room. According to the investigation, the assailants threw 1567 gold coins. Among the coins stolen was a gold coin cut in 1921 to mark the 100th anniversary of independence from Spain in Mexico. Police across the country are searching for the robbers.
