An 11-year-old teenager drowned in the Alazani irrigation canal in the village of Gulgula in Telavi district.
Doctors said the teenager was dead for nearly two hours and could not survived.
According to the mayor"s representative, 3 minors were on the channel. According to him, rescuers found the boy dead. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
