Most of asylum seekers in France are Georgians – “FRANCE 24” prepared an extensive report on this topic.

According to the channel 7 000 Georgians claimed asylum in France last year - a higher number than Syrians or Iraqis. France provides asylum seekers with free treatment. Most of Georgians visit Paris as tourists, but later they stay in France.
