The Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense and the Mayor of Tbilisi met with the veterans on the occasion of Veterans Day.

Giorgi Gakharia addressed the veterans and thanked them for creating Georgian history.

"It is great honor for me to see faces of truly glorious and praiseworthy people of our country here; people who have been shaping the history of this country over the past 30 years. We have gathered here today to pay respect to the memory of those who are no longer with us. I see faces of glorious and praiseworthy people in the history of our country and the only thing we should pledge to each other is to do our best to make sure that no war gets ever waged in this country again, to advance and progress through our dedicated work, get united and wholesome. It should be our prime goal", - noted the Prime Minister.
