The Tetritskaro District Court sentenced a man, identified as S.P., to 6 years of imprisonment for committing a lewd act against his own child.

According to the Tetritskaro District Court’s statement, the court shared the evidence submitted by the prosecution and found S.P. guilty for committing a lewd act against his own child, who has not reached 16 years of age.

The man was arrested on May 31 2019. He was charged under Article 11(1) and Article 141 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, involving a lewd act committed by one family member against another family member, who has not reached 16 years of age.
