A car explosion killed a driver in Telavi town, Kakheti. The incident occurred at the gas station on Alazani Street. The driver died at the scene.

Fire and patrol police are mobilized on site.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the investigation was launched under the second part of Article 240 of the Criminal Code of Georgia – violation of the rules on electricity or thermal energy, gas safety, which resulted in death or other serious accident.
