Koba Lursmanashvili, a member of the Georgian Dream, and Levan Koberidze, an independent MP, physically assaulted each other during a break in the parliamentary plenary session.

According to eyewitness lawmakers, the situation was so aggravated that Elene Khoshtaria, MP from “European Georgia”, had to separate them.

Other details of the physical confrontation are unknown at this point.

The incident was allegedly sparked by opposition and majority in the courtroom.
