Grigol Vashadze, one of the leaders of the United National Movement, finds it difficult to positively evaluate the second round of dialogue with the authorities.
According to him, no agreement has been reached.
“We do not have positive results. Since the parties have been unable to agree on anything for two rounds, international mediators removed the component of multi-mandate constituency from our document and told us to consider this component separately. The opposition has no problem to discuss the electoral system and principles according to the components. As for the expectations, I was not hopeful. We were taught in our profession: “Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst”. I do not even hope for the best, so I am preparing for the worst”, - said Vashadze.
