All criminals must be punished. In such way Georgian Defense Minister responded to the fact of wounding Tsotne Gamsakhurdia. According to Irakli Gharibashvili, political speculations on this issue are unacceptable for him.

The Minister also recalled that Tsotne Gamsakhurdia was imprisoned illegally during the previous Government.

“All criminals will be punished. Whoever commits this crime, all will be punished. Your chief, Mikheil Saakashvili, illegally imprisoned Gamsakhurdia for several years. All criminals must be punished, and politics has nothing to do with it. I am expressing my sorrow, I know Tsotne very well”, - said Gharibashvili.

Tsotne Gamsakhurdia was wounded yesterday. He underwent two surgeries. The condition of his health is grave.
