The Prime Minister of Georgia has not directly answered the questions of the media pertaining to his possible resignation. Giorgi Gakharia just said: “Let’s wait for the final word, don’t make me spoil it for you”.

According to the several Georgian media outlets, the Head of the Government would resign soon.

Gakharia was apointed to the post in September 2019, shortly after the June protests in Tbilisi sparked by the presence of Russian MPs in the Georgian parliament.
