“And Then We Danced”, a Swedish-Georgian drama film of Levan Akin, won in the nomination of “Best Film” in Sweden, while the main hero Levan Gelbakhiani was named as the “Best actor”.

The film was also the winner in the Cinematography and Screenplay categories.

“And Then We Danced” was screened in the Directors’ Fortnight section at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. It was selected as the Swedish entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards, but it was not nominated.
