Catholicos Patriarch’s health is not in danger. Goga Valishvili, a neurosurgeon at one of the clinics in Batumi, made such a statement.

Ilia II has a tomography in Batumi because of pain in the lumbar. According to the doctors, he has had to stand for long time on the liturgy and that is the reason for the pain.

The Catholicos-Patriarch was in the medical clinic for about 40 minutes.
