Police detain one person for murder of Dodo Gugeshashvili’s son – MIA

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police detained Z.M. (1975) for the murder of Dodo Gugeshashvili’s son – Nodar Gugeshashvili - and the attempted murder of Dodo Gugeshashvili.

The crime is punishable by imprisonment for 17 to 20 years or life imprisonment.
The investigation has established that on February 7 of 2018, the detainee fatally shot Dodo Gugeshashvili’s son and wounded Dodo Gugeshashvili in their own home.

As MIA stated, the investigation is in progress under Article 108 and sub-paragraph a, paragraph III, Article 19-109 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, involving premeditated murder and premeditated attempted murder of two or more persons.
