The Georgian Orthodox Church marks the day of remembrance of St. Nino. A special liturgy will take place in the temples.

The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II will hold a service at 10:00 in St. Nino Cathedral in Kukia.

The Orthodox Church commemorates St. Nino twice a year, on the day of her arrival in Georgia on June 1, and the day of her death on January 27.
