India does a dance of swords for World Record

Women from the Shatriya community dance with swords in an attempt to set a world record for the largest number of people taking part in a sword dance during a three-day coronation ceremony of Rajkot’s 17th king.

More then 2 000 women participated in the dance.

Guinness World Records representative attended the show. The dance reflects a 16th-century tradition of India.
