Coronavirus threat - Amiran Gamkrelidze releases information about the observed patients

Amiran Gamkrelidze, the Head of the National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health, talks about the observed patients.

According to him, two Georgian citizens who arrived from China were not confirmed to have any type of virus.

“One of the Georgian citizens, who arrived from China, applied to the hospital and the other was taken to the Hospital of Infectious Diseases from the airport because of high body temperature. The tests were taken and sent to Richard Lugar Center for Public Health Research. The tests proved negative against all kinds of virus”, - said Amiran Gamkrelidze.

He added that there is no reason to panic in the country, however, we must be fully ready.
