The information we have just received from Turkey is that their plane took off in the direction of China. Our citizens who are in China and want to evacuate, will fly to Turkey and will spend the quarantine period there.

Turkey manages their quarantine procedure according to their protocol and it is not just the protocol of the Republic of Turkey. The World Health Organization (WHO) is actively involved in this and all countries have a responsibility to use the protocol provided by the WHO. At this time, 4 citizens have given their consent, but we have been contacted by several other tourists as well and we continue to negotiate for their transfer”, - concluded the Minister.
