The Parliament of Georgia will discuss Valeri Gelashvili’s term of office. The sitting of the Procedural Issues and Rules Committee scheduled for today.

The term of MP Karlo Kopaliani terminated prematurely on February 5. Valeri Gelashvili will be his replacement in the IX convocation Parliament.

“We already received the relevant documents from the Central Election Commission of Georgia. We will discuss this issue on the Committee sitting to determine whether the submitted documents are in compliance with the legislation, after which this issue will be discussed at the session”, - said Guram Macharashvili, the Chairman of the Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules.
