Tbilisi City Hall will not accept the restoration of the Budapest Restaurant at Vake Park instead of the Budapest Hotel. Such a statement made the Mayor of Tbilisi.

According to Kakha Kaladze, they offered the investor to carry out the project in a different area.

“We are ready to replace the area with a different land plot if the investor wants it. The Tbilisi City Hall plans to renovate the Vake Park. The construction of a hotel or restaurant in the park is currently unacceptable. Tbilisi City Hall is an agency issuing permits. Therefore, we will decide whether to build anything there”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
