The trial of Nika Melia, a member of the United National Movement, regarding June 20 case will resume today by the prosecution witnesses. The process will start at 13:00.

As his lawyer Giorgi Kodakhishvili said, witnesses of the prosecution, the police will be interrogated at today’s trial.

“The witnesses at the trial would answer critical questions about how they identified Nika Melia among several thousand people. We are waiting for the decision of the Constitutional Court to restore his mandate as a member of the Parliament. We think that the Parliament made a premature decision and had to wait for the verdicts of all instances”, - concluded Giorgi Kodakhishvili.
