We asked Chinese contractors to refrain from bringing in additional staff until we are all convinced that the quarantine measures are being implemented properly. Such a statement made Maia Tskitishvili, the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia told reporters.

“Naturally, there will be some impact on our part, but not a dramatic one, as the majority of those who work on these projects are Georgians. We know that expectations determine the development of the economy in general. We should be optimistic about those expectations”, - concluded the Minister.
