Results of 11 new patients are expected from Lugar Lab

According to the medical director of the Tbilisi Infectious Hospital Marina Ezugbaia, 16 patients tested negative for the novel coronavirus. They will be taken to the quarantine zone.

As Ezugbaia said, currently 24 patients remain in the clinic. Besides, today the results of 11 new patients are expected from Lugar Lab.

The Ministry of Health stated today that people under quarantine or self-isolation will receive compensation from employers.

“To implement effective measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, amendments will be made to Order N281/N issued by the Minister of Health”, - reads the statement.

Georgia has confirmed three cases of the novel virus so far. COVID-19 has spread to more than 70 states.
