National Bank of Georgia sets new GEL rate

National currency depreciates. According to a new exchange rate set by the National Bank of Georgia for March 12, the official value of USD 1 has become GEL 2.8791. The current rate was GEL 2.8463.

The GEL is also depreciated against the Euro and the official price of 1 Euro is 3.2591 GEL, while the current rate is 3.2274 GEL.

The change is 0.0317 GEL against the Euro.
