Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, O Dia, a major Brazilian newspaper, reported on Friday.

Bolsonaro’s son, Eduardo, said that further testing is being done to confirm the diagnosis and that they expect results later on Friday.

The Brazilian newspaper Estadão first reported on Thursday that Bolsonaro had been tested for the coronavirus and was being monitored. On Saturday, he sat next to US President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
