Georgia has a higher rate of coronavirus infected children compared to other countries. Such a statement made Marina Ezugbaia, the medical director of Tbilisi Infectious Decease Hospital.

According to her, there are four children among the 38 confirmed coronavirus cases in the country. According the kids are in a stable health condition.

“There are four children 0-14 years old. Fortunately, they are in a stable health condition. It should be mentioned that the rate of infection in children is higher in Georgia compared to other countries”, - concluded Marina Ezugbaia.
