The GEL strengthened against the USD and the Euro

According to the currency exchange rate set by the National Bank of Georgia, 1 USD exchange rate is GEL 3.1568. Yesterday 1 USD price was 3.1804. These mean sthat the GEL rate strengthened by 0.0236 against the USD.

One Euro costs GEL 3.4109, while yesterday its price was GEL 3.4997. Accordingly, the change in the Euro amounted to GEL 0.0888.

It should be mentioned that today, March, 19, the National Bank of Georgia sold USD 40 million in foreign exchange auctions.
