2 out of 67 patients infected with novel coronavirus are citizens of Austria who returned to Austria by a special flight last night. Such a statement made today Ekaterine Tikaradze, the Minister of Health.

Therefore, there are 65 laboratory confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Georgia. According to official data, 9 patients have recovered, 4055 people are in quarantine and 252 - in inpatient care.

“Last night the special flight was scheduled by the Austrian state and their citizens were deported to Austria. Therefore, we have 65 Georgian citizens and 9 of these 65 are already healthy. Accordingly, at this stage we have 56 COVID-19 infected patients in the hospitals”, - said Ekaterine Tikaradze.
