The Deputy Head of the National Center for Disease Control, confirmed the death of a Georgian citizen infected with COVID-19. According to Paata Imnadze, the person died in New York.

“Another Georgian citizen died abroad. This is the fifth case of a death of our compatriot abroad. The recent victim is a 64-year-old man living in New York. As in the previous case in Spain, the patient had another chronic disease together with COVID-19”, - said Paata Imnadze.
