40 hospitals in Georgia ready to treat patients with fever – Tamar Gabunia

There are about 40 hospitals throughout Georgia which are ready to treat patients with fever. Such a statement made today the Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia.

According to her, many hospitals in the regions refused to accept patients with fever.

“The hospitals which can take in patients with fever have already been identified in the regions.

Hospitals in the regions have the ability to serve patients with fever and respiratory symptoms. As for larger hospitals, they have been already mobilised to serve patients with COVID-19 and in case of necessity they will only serve patients with the coronavirus. These hospitals are identified in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Gori and Zugdidi”, - explained Tamar Gabunia.

Georgia has had 110 confirmed cases of coronavirus.
