The process of gradual return of Georgian citizens abroad and additional mechanisms to assist compatriots – the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Davit Zalkaliani held a video conference to discuss these issues.

Zalkaliani spoke with the heads of consular offices of eight countries.

According to the Foreign Ministry, more than 4 000 Georgian citizens have returned to their homeland and thousands of compatriots have been assisted in 40 countries around the world.
