Disaster in Mestia has cut off 12 families from the outside world

As a result of the disaster in Mestia, 12 families were seriously injured.

According to the Mestia City Hall, these families are from the villages of Khaishi community - Veda and Khevra. Due to the rising water level, the river eroded the road and as a result several families were cut off from the outside world.

One family is affected in the village of Vedi and 11 in the village of Khevra.

Road rehabilitation works will start as soon as it will possible.
