Wizz Air is not leaving the Georgian market - Natia Turnava

Wizz Air does not go anywhere, it continues to cooperate with the Georgian Government and remains committed to its customers. Such a statement made today the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.

“Wizz Air temporarily closes its base in Georgia, though it is not leaving our market. It will continue flights from Kutaisi International Airport and will publicize the details later. Before the pandemic, the air company conducted flights to 30 destinations and planned to add 10 ones. Wizz Air is not leaving Georgia. Later, the company will confirm that it will continue collaboration with the Georgian Government. It remains devoted to its clients. As Wizz Air is taking its aircraft based in Georgia to Hungary, it is a technical issue, and the company is trying to cut expenses”, - said Natia Turnava.
