The opposition united for the protection of the constitution- today it will become known how the politicians are going to confront the constitutional amendments presented by the Georgian Dream. They will talk about future plans at the meeting in the hotel "Rooms".

"It"s a bad document of an undemocratic regime in Georgia, precondition for Turkmenization," Nika Rurua, a member of the political council of the United National Movement, assessed the draft of the constitution presented by the majority.

The parliamentary and non-parliamentary opposition accuses the ruling party of usurping the power and draws attention to the significance of confronting the draft constitutional amendments.

For this reason, a part of the opposition is going to be actively involved in the universal discussions initiated by the majority and support plebiscite on presidential elections. 

European Georgia is considering collecting signatures with a plebiscite demand. 

"It will be a clear example of general public mobilization."
The Chairperson of the political movement "State for People" draws attention to the necessity of participation of the society in the protection of the constitution. 

The accusations are unacceptable for the majority.
