Majoritarian MPs from Georgian Dream talk about transaction of the country"s electoral system into fully majoritarian. Victor Japaridze,the member of the faction Georgian Dream made an announcement.

Mr. Japaridze claims that the majoritarian system is more democratic and more correct, as the population knows for whom they vote and they vote not for any party, but for a particular person.

"If we talk about democratic elections, direct elections are not more democratic? Can anyone explain why majoritarian elections are not democratic?, "Victor Japaridze said.

As Japaridze says he will introduce his opinion to the ruling party at the meeting of the majority today and will try to persuade them.
