The Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia drew attention to the creation of the Commission and stated that the Constitution Commission was the right decision by the parliament. As Irakli Kobakhidze said, the only correct format was the parliamentary format,as the only body from which the legislative initiative can be presented is the Parliament.

Kobakhidze says that the commission, which was created to work on amendments to the constitution, has been based on inclusive and broader involvement .
