Chairman of the Parliament accuses the president of misleading society

A Chairman of Parliament of Georgia accuses the president of misleading the society. Irakli Kobakhidze made a statement at the meeting where he presented a new constitution to journalists.

As Kobakhidze says, the society has heard a lot of lies during the campaign against the Constitutional Commission.

The Chairman of the Parliament recommends the president and opposition to read the norms in the s package of amendments correctly.

"It"s not just about misinformation. The society has heard many lies in frameworks of this campaign, which is unacceptable for us and and therefore naturally prevents the constructive cooperation between the Parliament and the President in relation to the Constitution. We need to express our concern regarding this issue.

"It would be nice to read correctly the norms that are presented in the new edition, if they can t read it correctly and then inform the Georgian society correctly,"- said Irakli Kobakhidze.
